This year the women of Advent will gather together in the spirit and discipline of the lenten season for silence, rest, and worship at the Franciscan Retreat Center.

Over the weekend of March 28-30th we will intentionally enter solitude as well as engage spiritual practices to take us into deeper adoration of the lamb of God. While our hope is you want to join for any or all of the planned workshops and resources, including spiritual direction, inner healing prayer, and embodied worship including sensory prayer and visio divina, none of these activities is compulsory and how you want to retreat is entirely up to you - you may find you want to join full-heartedly in corporate worship or would rather lean into solitude, going for a solo run or attending a service at the catholic parish attached to the retreat center. Whatever your choice, we anticipate a time of spiritual renewal for us all.

Cost: $160*

*includes lodging and meals. Each room has two twin beds, so please indicate at registration if there is someone with whom you would like to share a room. Meals will be provided by the retreat center. Please let us know if you need gluten free or vegetarian meals. You will also have the opportunity to meet with a spiritual director at no extra cost, but there are a limited number of slots. Please let us know if you’d like to engage this resource. 

Should the cost be prohibitive, please don’t let that prevent you from coming on the retreat. Scholarships are available - just let Lisa know if you need one and she will give you specific instructions for registration. 

In preparation for the retreat, you can join our (totally optional) Practicing the Way solitude practice cohort. We will practice solitude for the four Sundays leading up to the retreat (March 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd) with a weekly digital touchpoint.
